star wars the force awakens reviewI went and saw Star Wars the Force Awakens last night at a theater. This is my Star Wars The Force Awakens review with NO spoilers.
I’ve been waiting a long time for a true story continuation of the Star Wars trilogy. When George Lucas announced the prequels, I was less than enthused because I simply wasn’t interested in what happened BEFORE we met characters such as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, etc.
Episode I came out in 1998 and I went to see it of course. I was excited that a new Star Wars movie was being released and I wanted to relive the magic of the original trilogy. After struggling to get through the prequel trilogy over the years, I grew disgusted at how tarnished the Star Wars brand had become.

The Age of Adaline review (2015)

the age of adaline reviewI happened to see the movie The Age of Adaline the other day and ended up over thinking the movie more than I wanted to. The story sounds pretty cool. A woman that never ages. There are so many directions you can go with that story, so how did this movie do? My friends and I debated a lot through this movie about what we would do if we were the characters.

Ima Ai ni Yukimasu (Be with you) Review

One of my all-time favorite Japanese movies is “Be with you” or [いま、会いにゆきます] (ima ai ni yukimasu) in Japanese. It’s a heartwarming love story that came out in 2004 and, unfortunately, isn’t widely recognized outside of Japan, China, and Korea. In my opinion, it’s a hidden gem of Japanese cinema that’s definitely worth watching.
