I just got back from watching Batman VS Superman. I had been anxiously awaiting this movie ever since it was first announced a few years ago. After all the waiting, I finally saw it. Sure, people in the U.S. have it pretty good now. So many movies and TV shows are now available on demand through services such as Netflix, Hulu, and more. What if I told you that most people in Japan still go to rental stores to rent and return movies?
Waiting for American Movies in Japan
Why do American movies arrive in Japan so late compared to other countries? It’s really frustrating seeing many movie trailers online because while my excitement builds there is also a grim feeling of disappointment. I know I’ll have to wait 6-12 months longer than people in other countries to see the same movie.
