I want to talk about something that is near and dear to my heart. Japanese Pizza. It’s essential for parties. It soothes your soul after a long, stressful week at work. It doesn’t judge you and is a good listener. Oh yeah, it also (usually) tastes good.
Today I want to talk about Japanese pizza and how it differs from the way people see pizza in the US. Follow along with me as I use this post as a great excuse to talk about pizza.

Have you considered trying to make Japanese friends online? When I was in high school in the US, I lived in an area where there were few opportunities to meet Japanese speakers or anyone from Japan. Instead, I used the Internet to find people my age that I could talk to.

I was in Osaka the other day and found a collection of old magazines. I happened to find a massive collection of old issues of Famitsu. I bought a few issues and wanted to share my pickups. This is a weekly issue from November in 1991! This issue of Famitsu is pretty old, which means we’re likely to find some old gaming treasures inside. I’m basically time traveling by flipping through this magazine. At this point, you can probably call this a retro game magazine. I flipped through it and took some photos of some of the things I thought would be interesting to share. Let’s take a look!
There are so many online Japanese dictionaries, but only a handful matter. Throughout the years, I’ve used many different dictionaries and I’ve narrowed them down. Each one on this list has has a special feature or history that makes it stand out more than the others.
I wanted to do a small review of StickyStudy Japanese. It’s an app for iPhone and iPad and is relatively inexpensive considering the amount of features and information included.
I’m not sure exactly when, but I think I discovered StickyStudy Japanese in 2011. I was preparing to take the JLPT N4 for the first time. I wanted to review all the necessary kanji so that I wouldn’t encounter unknown words on the test.
I love reading The Japan Times, but sometimes I encounter a message like this: “You’ve reached your story limit as a non-registered user”.
The site then tries to force readers to register for a free account to access more articles or pay a monthly fee for unlimited access. I’m not interested in making an account just to read daily articles on a website, so I want to show others how to bypass The Japan Times article limit.
The first 2015 JLPT. Hmm… It’s happening on July 5th, which is coming up very soon (I need more time!). I’ve been struggling with sinusitis and a cold while trying to work and study at the same time.
